These early conversations in 2016 impressed Anthony and Janique Edwards to launch EatOkra, an app highlighting Black-owned eating places. By making it simpler to search out and assist Black-owned companies, EatOkra helps a vibrant group of customers and enterprise homeowners that honor and protect the culinary heritage and historical past of the African diaspora.

EatOkra has grown to over 9,500 enterprise listings, serving greater than a half 1,000,000 customers throughout 35 cities. We’re extremely proud to assist EatOkra and all of our Changemakers to do our half to assist break down boundaries to progress and construct up communities of assist.
